It’s mid-December, and you may be excited to close up shop for the holidays. Before you do, complete the items on this checklist, and your business will thrive in January!

  • Did I send Holiday cards to my team? Snailmail? It’s a great way to let them know you appreciate them!
  • Did I send Holiday cards to my customers? Snailmail? Easy way to keep in touch!
  • Have I planned my January meeting? Kick start your team in early January with a well-thought-out meeting!
  • Have I submitted all the orders? Do I know which ones are incomplete? Are the customers aware of shipping limits?
  • Have I followed up with every order and completed any customer service? This will avoid those Christmas Eve calls, “Where are my gifts”?
  • Are all my social media posts scheduled to keep me in front of my team and customers even while I am ‘off’?
  • Did I schedule a time before January 1st to review my year and create my vision for 2022? This one thing will do more for your success in 2022 than anything else!
  • Have I created a list of all the great things that happened this year? Celebrate your success!
  • Are my taxes and receipts up to date? A bit of time getting this together will save a lot of headaches in April!
  • Is my office in order? There is nothing more discouraging than coming into a messy office after the holidays!
  • Close the door and enjoy your family and the holidays!

Taking time to clean up all unfinished business and set the stage for a successful start in January will set you apart as a truly professional Direct Seller. Starting your break with a sense of completion in your business has the added bonus of reducing your stress and increasing your sense of peace.
