I have heard that many of you have a hard time getting people to attend business opportunity meetings.  It’s time to see if you guest events are boring, outdated, or too “salesy.”

As I work with top leaders all over North America, I ask, “What was your best guest event for attendance and results.”  I have heard so many ideas and I would love to share a couple of them with you.

Many of you told me you combine your product with the opportunity messages. Here are some examples:

  • Mixers (mixing up the product)
  • Demonstrations (cooking or using the products)
  • Glam Night (Makeover)
  • Girl’s Night Out (about anything that would be fun)
  • Team Spa (relaxation, aromatherapy)
  • Fashion Show (jewelry, clothing)
  • Opportunity Tasting (food, wine)

Think about the fun way you can combine your product and your opportunity.

Others set an informal gathering to share the opportunity. Be smart: do something that matches your market.  One of our clients had a workout meeting. One leader hosted a “Happy Hour” at a hotel lounge to share how happy her opportunity could make people.  Another held an Opportunity Bingo with information about her income earning opportunity. We have seen Pizza, Profits, and Perks, Career Nights, Evening of Explorations, and Host Appreciation Events.  Think about the fun way you can combine your product and your opportunity.  Make sure guests know you will be talking about your business opportunity at an event.

Please keep the conversations going.  Comment on your best guest event.
