There is a difference between thinking about your business 24 hours a day vs. working your business 2 hours a day.  Just like our duties at home, we could always do one more thing before we are finished.  Learn to use your hours so you can get results. It takes as much time to play at your business without pay than it does to have fun working your business making money.

You have already decided how many parties a week you are willing to hold.  Most of you want to hold two or three parties a week.  With this 10 hour plan, I can assure you success as a leader.

Booking

Two hours of booking or parties up calls.  If your date-book is full, it will take 2 hours to call all of your upcoming hostesses.  If your date-book is empty, then guess what? You have given yourself 2 hours to start filling it.

Recruiting

Three hours of real recruiting conversations.  When you plan this time, you will get results. Consistent results come from consistent interviewing.  One of the top recruiters in the nation told me, “I use the same materials and techniques as other good recruiters I know.  The main difference is, while most others interview 6-10 people each month, I interview 6-10 people each week.”

Training

Two hours of training team members.  This is the time for NEW recruits.  Establish a weekly time to work in groups.  If you should go a week without a recruit, you need to use this time for more interviews.

Activity

One hour a week for leadership development on your team.  This time is for future leaders, booking calls with them, three-way calls with consultants and their prospects, and recruiting calls with consultants.  Do not confuse this time with “telling them what to do.”  The title activity indicates this time is for showing them what to do.  This weekly function builds your team line up faster and bigger than ever.  Without it, don’t plan to grow.  Success happens when it is scheduled in advance.

Phone

Two hours of phone contact.  This includes coaching calls, pep calls, elevator calls, information calls, and you can do it calls. Phone contact is better than texting when you get into all of the details.

These TEN hours will bring success for a beginning leader with less than 50 people.  You can increase the time spent in any of these areas but never delete.  When you plan and work the allotted time every week in all five areas, you maximize your potential.

Try this formula for three months and watch your team grow.
