When are your prospects the most excited? The very minute they see your product and interact with you! It only makes sense to confirm the next step at that very moment. With all of the Spring events and fundraisers being scheduled now, here are some ideas to help you successfully ask for a commitment at the fair, in the mall, or at the party. Practice these language ideas out loud until they feel comfortable. [I know this sounds weird, but try it.  Out loud works better than “in your head.”] Then the next time you talk to a lead, they will flow easily from YOUR mouth!

  • You really love our ____, aren’t you? How about sharing your enthusiasm and our great products with your friends? We have a great incentive right now, if you pick your date today, I will _____________.   (bring a dessert to your party, add a _____(product) on to your host rewards) Let’s check the calendar. You pull out your phone, and so will she!
  • What part of your wardrobe could use a boost the most? What day is good for me to come to show you our line of golf shirts?
  • You are intrigued by our nutritional weight loss products, aren’t you? What do you say we set a time to sit down and create your personal plan for success?
  • It sounds like right now is not the best time for you to take the next step, even though you see the value in our ________. Who do you know that might be interested in hearing about _______? I have a great referral program; for each person who _______, I will reward you with _______.

What you want matters, too. Be sure to go into your next opportunity to meet new leads with a clear intentions.
