Open every meeting or conference call with your favorite National Conference song. Go ahead, shake it up, dance a little, and bring on the confetti, steamers and more.
Give them a taste of what is to come!
- Have the award earners practice accepting their awards on stage. Laminate a picture of the company president and attach it to a stick so that you can be ‘the big cheese’ when they walk across! Or use this idea to award your monthly team awards.
- Play a video from last year’s conference and freeze it on the people from your team.
- Close the door to the meeting room and make them wait in the hall until ‘its time’
- Place special ribbon on the name tag of each person who is registered.
- Bring those up front who have registered and have a computer handy… as people register throughout your meeting, celebrate them! This builds momentum!
- Create a special conference club 3 months in advance. At each meeting the club meets to plan the restaurants, roommates, shopping and site seeing excursions.
- Tell the Stories! Over the years, you will have National Conference Legends…be sure to share one at every meeting. The team will clamor to be a part of the memories!
