The answer: No one cares more about you than you. I think its better that way. You get to be the mistress (or master) of your life. You are the expert on what you want and when you want it.
The problem is that “stuff gets in the way.” Ask yourself these questions about your Spring.
- Who is going to enroll me in the weight loss program I want?
- Who is going to take the time to get my tax records together?
- I need a plan for paying for the vacations. Who’s going to give me one?
When it comes down to it, you are in the best place to make decisions about your life, your business, and your future. You know more about you than anyone else, you care more about your actions than anyone else, and you get to live with the praise and blame for all of it.
Do you really want others to control your future? Say “no” once in a while. Do the things that matter. Everything else is just fluff.
If things aren’t going right, start with some self-talk.
For example, if you don’t have recruits, ask:
- What have I been doing to chase them away?
- What have I not been doing to attract new people?
- What didn’t I do for the last two months to fill my pipeline?
- What can I do about this situation now?
You get the point. When you start by thinking about you, you’ll avoid the blame, shame, and justify that won’t get you out of the rut.
Just a thought: maybe you want to work with a coach or an accountability partner to ask the tough questions that you know you want to hear.
