Recruiting is the Answer! How many times have you heard that phrase! Well, it’s really the truth! No matter what the question is in the direct sales profession, recruiting is the answer. Let me share with you why.

Wouldn’t you agree that recruiting gives you more team members? The more team members you have, the more sales you will have.  As you recruit, in November and December, you’ll have new team members working to achieve your company’s Fast Start program which will produce sales.  So, doesn’t it make sense that the more you recruit now, the more sales you’ll have going into the New Year.

How many new team members do you want? By setting recruiting goals, you will enjoy another benefit of recruiting now which is having a stronger start in January with more new team members.

Ask yourself these questions and write down your answers:

  • How many will I recruit in November?
  • How many will I recruit in December?
  • How many do I need to talk to get a recruit?
  • Who are the first 10 I will contact?
  • When will I schedule time to hold Recruiting Conversations?
  • When will I make the calls to fill in my scheduled times?

By answering these questions, you have made a recruiting plan of action. Show your leaders how to do the same for themselves.  When you stay focused on following your plan, the results will follow!

Did you know that recruiting now can help you promote more leaders both now and later?  Now is the time to identify many future leader prospects and invite them to have a leadership conversation with you before the end of the month. When they set their target date to promote by the end of November or December, you will have 3 new team members for each future leader who promotes. Not only will you have more leaders to begin with in January, you will be able to identify more future leader prospects from their new team members. January will be the month to have lots of Leadership Conversations to start the year off right!
