Someone on Facebook asked me for meeting themes and I went back over too many years of ideas.  I really hope to hear some of comment on this entry because I KNOW you have had some great meetings, too!  Here were some goodies!

Once in Wisconsin, we had a Recruitin’ Round Up meeting.  We used a cowboy theme and had training topics like “Lasso Some Leads,” “Bring ‘em into the ranch (closing),” and “Blue Sky Recruiting (setting intentional goals).”  We had a barbeque for lunch, used bandanas, kids’ cowboy toys, and red and white checked table cloths.  The invitations, handouts, and PowerPoints reflected the team.  Our recognition carried the cowboy theme.  We had top 10 in Recruitin’, Brandin’ (new Consultant sales), and Movin’ Up (leadership advancement).

In Buffalo, a Buffalo Bills’ theme was appropriate with their trips to the Super Bowl.  The training was on thinking like a champion, being a team player, moving the ball down the field (recruiting), and the 2 minute drill (last week of a sales month).  If you live near any professional team, the decorations, memorabilia, and inexpensive gifts are easy to find.

In Iowa, we had a “Treats, Not Tricks” meeting with all sorts of “Treats.” Gifts for all of the recognition were candy, we had the top ten treats for Hostesses, how to treat yourself to a debt free holiday, and the decorations were simple.

Now, come on, share at least one of your ideas for a meeting theme.  We could keep this going for a long time!
