Summer has unique opportunities to connect with people.  You may see more people out and about so be prepared to show and tell people what is available when they host a party.

If you make phone calls, you will learn some great tips in Booking Summer Parties.

Suggested words to say:

“Hi Susie, This is _________ with xyz…and I have hot news for you!  Do you have a minute?”

“I’m making update calls today and I wanted to let you know what is happening in our company.”  Tell them about current specials, offers, etc.

“I’d love to save a time to show you and your friends what’s new.  I’m lining up my first few weeks of July today.  How does your calendar look?”

Listen.

If positive:

“I’ve got Tuesday the 6th or Thursday the 8th open…which is better for you?”  Remember: Use dates!  Never say week!

If hesitant:

“You are probably wondering if your friends would come.  I’m sure they would love to see what’s new!  Tell me, do they work outside the home or are they at home with children?”

If she says not now, offer her an appropriate get together to interest her group, mail her a catalog and tell her you’ll check back at another time and that you’d really like to be her representative and to be of service whatever way you can.  Thank her for her time!

[NOTE:  These are some words we’ve found successful.  Our suggestion is for you to say them OUTLOUD and change them so they sound like you.  When they roll off your tongue, you will own them and are on your way to success!]
