If you want more daytime contacts, you have to take your business to places where you can see people.  I talked to some great direct selling leaders about getting more daytime business.  They shared several ideas that have worked for them.  Most companies have “no soliciting” signs, and most of us don’t love cold calling on businesses, so I loved these ideas.

Take advantage of display opportunities.  Many banks allow their customers to set up a display of their business in their lobbies.  Ask your branch manager for a small space to advertise or sell your products on an occasional basis.

Create a “Lunch and Learn” educational presentation.  Many companies would be glad to have you speak on your area of expertise and believe me, you are an expert: skincare, microwave cooking, organizing, or nutrition, you have a gift to offer.

Create a Corporate Shopping Service.  With permission, you can give excellent service to offices by creating shopping services that offer your products with delivery to the office.  Each month, one leader leaves samples, catalogs, and order forms at ten different companies.  Her sales are incremental and steady.  She even recruited the receptionist at one of the companies.

Be creative.  Let us know how you have brought your business to other business owners.
