Your personal growth impacts your leadership more than any other thing you can do. Today, let’s focus on self-management. Here’s a thought: you can self-coach to better manage your choices, words, and actions.

Great leaders often ask themselves the hard questions.

“Who do I want to be today? In this tough situation? With this person?”

“How are my actions aligned with my values?”

“How can I improve?”

These questions call us into self-awareness, an ability to see who we want to be, how we want to be viewed, and what we can do to be better. When we stop and ask ourselves these questions, we are drawn to be better people. We pause and recognize that our choices, our words, and our deeds will represent who we are to our family, our friends, and the people we lead.
