What this isn’t:

No plea to write a check.

No “click here” to build donations based on number of clicks.

No “feel-good” activity to raise your human consciousness.

No physical exercise.

What this is:

Spend three minutes a day reading one (and only one) blog article that will improve the leadership of your business.

This sounds like such a small simple deal that it’s easy to say ‘yes.”  Think before you commit.  Here is what you must do:

1.  Find a blog article.  On the Ultimate Coach University website you can find a five part series on “Feeding Your Head.”  Check it out for ideas if you want a place to start.  Feel free to look on Facebook or elsewhere and I guarantee you will find something of interest. Seek and you will find.

2.  Stop what you are doing and read just the one article from start to finish. You must:

Starting and finishing in one sitting.

Focus, focus, focus.  Don’t let your mind drift to Facebook or emails.

When you finish, write or say a summary of what you read.  How will this affect your business for the day?

Why Three Minutes?

The average reading speed of the average adult is between 200 -250 words per minute.  The average blog article is between 200-400 words.  Three minutes will let you clear your head, focus, read, and summarize. (Not counting this sentence, you will read 281 words in this article.)

Once you read, you can’t unread.  Once you own an idea, you can’t unown it.

I’m passionate about reading.  I’d love for you to catch a little bit of my excitement.

Pictures, movies, podcasts, YouTube, or just plain grazing is always fun.  Can you give up those activities for three minutes to change your life?
