Besides making more money, there are other advantages of larger party sales. People with a higher party average stay longer, maybe because they make more money per hour. Bookings from high sales parties are usually higher than low party sales.

Great sales at a party can be an accident or intentional. We mentioned five reasons for low party sales in an earlier post. Experience direct sellers are intentional about working with the host before the party. These may be great training questions for your next few meetings if you are a leader. If you struggle with low sales at your party, look for these blog posts and think about the questions before your next parties.

  1. When was the party planned?
  2. What information did you give her?
  3. What products/gifts would she like to earn?
  4. What was the sales goal for her party?
  5. How did you keep her excited about her party?
  6. How did you show your appreciation for her booking with you?
  7. How many times did you speak with the hostess before her party?

Little or no planning for the party is the number one reason for a low party average.
