I spent fifteen minutes with a terrific group of leaders last month brainstorming how they can expand their customer base. In a few short minutes we came up with almost 20 different kinds of people who might benefit from their product line. It was so fun to keep adding to the list. Sometimes when we work in direct sales we feel very isolated, sometimes stale, and this was a great way to get the creative juices going.

Here is a thought.  Find a couple of people in your company and set a timer. Brainstorm on a topic to get as many ideas as you can in 15 minutes.

Here are some topics:

  • Getting guests to events
  • Meeting Themes
  • Benefits of Your Products
  • Marketing Ideas
  • Places to Meet New Recruits
