For year and years (even when I was a corporate trainer with different Direct Sales companies), I would get book “gifts” for my leaders from Goodwill, Thrift Stores and yard sales all the time. They KNOW they are from those places, I don’t hide it!
But seriously, I walk away with John Maxwell books all the time for $1!! Who Moved My Cheese $1, Purple Cow $1! Purpose Driven Life $1! Rhythm of Life $1!, etc!
I own a few of these books several times over just collecting them to give away to team members….I can get 20 books for $20 at Goodwill, or 1 book for $20 at the mall bookstore! I’ll take the pre-read $1 ones every time, and so will my team!!
They can write in them, highlight them, do whatever they want — they are theirs to keep!
