Making great family memories that last a lifetime are a great way to create the balance you want in your life and business.  We have heard from so many direct selling leaders that their spouses and kids have vivid memories of trips and vacations (even staycations) taken in their childhood.  Increased satisfaction comes when you are intentional about putting fun in the business.  We interview dozens of direct sellers whose children remembered significant events in their childhood.  Here are some of the examples.

“We went on a ski vacation with another family Mom and Dad knew.  The kids were like our cousins.  We laughed, played, and knew we were there because our parents shared a bond from their direct selling business.”

“Usually, our family would pile into the car and take a trip to Texas, where Mom’s convention took place.   We went to Six Flags with Dad while Mom was at her seminar.  This year, she did her convention through Zoom, so we went camping afterward.  We had a whole weekend with junk food and smores every night.”

“I remember when my mom won her choice from several prizes.  She let me pick the one we took.  I will never forget how special I felt because I got to choose what she won.”

“When Mom had meetings that were far away, we got to go and stay in a hotel.  She brought the babysitter, and we would swim, eat snacks, and even get room service while she was at our meeting.  That was a big deal for us.”

You get to create memories every day in your direct selling business.  Finding balance isn’t as important as spending time with those you love.  Be creative and tell us what you do.
